Kona Coffee Bar
Coffee
was first planted in the Hawaiian Islands in the early 1800s with cutting taken
from coffee trees in South America. The
volcanic soil, abundant sunshine, and
afternoon rainfall make the Kona growing region one of the premier coffee growing
regions in the world. No culinary journey is
complete without a trip through the various
stages of coffee production and a sampling of the delicious final product that is savored
everywhere.
Guests
will sample three types of fine Kona Coffee produced by Kona Mountain Coffee.
A Coffee Sommelier will be on hand to discuss and serve one of Konas
most famous
products. Different Types of coffee include: Extra Fancy medium and dark roast;
Peaberry medium and dark roasts; and medium roast Organic.
Decorated with Kona Coffee Bags, Beans in various states of
production (from harvest to
consumption) as well as sample coffee plants, this station will entice guests to finish
the
evening with Konas pride Kona Mountain Coffee.
