The Best Darn Chili at The Ranch - The Chili Cook Off

As many teams as you like can enjoy the challenge and excitement of creating the best
darn chili around.  We supply ingredients – you supply the enthusiasm and fun!  Each
station includes skirted table, chili ingredients (both typical and “not so typical”) and
spices presented in decorative bowls – all prepped and ready to go.  A double burner,
stock pot and necessary kitchen equipment complete the station.   Paniolo chili might
not always include poi, pineapple and macadamia nuts, but your winning entry might –
these are part of the ingredients you will have to create the best tastin’ chili at the ranch!
Serving size in One “Mini” Portion Per Person Per Station
Chef Attendant to Supervise and Assist, Two impartial judges (bribes expected, pardner!)
Each station should have a maximum of 20 participants.

Ingredients include:  ground meat, chopped onions, chopped green pepper, chopped
jalapenos, garlic cloves, stewed tomatoes, Tabasco, chili powder, cumin, turmeric,
oregano leaves, fresh cilantro leaves, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, pinto beans, grated
cheddar cheese, chopped macadamia nuts, poi, ground coffee, crushed pineapple, beer.


The Best Margarita at the Ranch

While not everyone is an aspiring chef, many will want to take part in creating the
perfect margarita.  The Bartender/Referee will assist guests in utilizing all the available
ingredients – but no worms!  Just make sure the judges aren’t driving!
Stations to Include:
Skirted Table, Tequila, Triple Sec, Sweet and Sour, Assorted Fresh Fruit , Salt, Glassware,
Blender, Buckets of Ice, Cut Garnishes, Straws, etc.
